A starship...

floating in desolate space

once manned by an 8 person crew, there are now but two souls left

they continue to man the vessel as they lose track of the days as well their minds

that is until...

they come across a distress beacon

they approach it and find a container drifting in the cold embrace of the infinite black

inside is a plethora of video games and movies from the late 20th century

together they make a pact

they will comb through each and every one of these and send a beacon out in to the void until they are rescued
